I finally have another project to show – even though it does not photograph well :/.
This cardigan is knitted on size 20mm, which basically means that I was able to finish it in one afternoon. Putting it together however cost me almost as much time as knitting it, as the yarn is quite ‘fiddly’ to sew and I am not happy if it is not done properly.
It was worth it though and I am happy with the result.
It is the perfect cardigan for mild days like today. It keeps you a little covered but not too much.
The yarn is Vienna from Garnstudio and the pattern is available for free on their website. I used one ball less than recommended, but I tend to knit quite loose.
Notes:
I did not follow the exact instructions and made no adjustements to the neck, so my fronts are basically knitted straight (rectangular). If you are short or have short arms you should know that it grows – a lot 😉
