Strawberry cake

Now, you may think we are talking about cake here, but I am afraid we are not 🙂

Instead we are looking at these beautiful socks made by my friend Marije.
I mean, look at the cable & lace combination. Absolutely stunning. I also love that the pattern continues over the toes.

Luckily for us Marije has allowed us to add the pattern to our shop, and you can buy it here as a single pattern or here as a package incl the wool and save some money. You know, to buy more wool 😉

The pattern is available in three languages: Nederlands, English & Deutsch and has 3 different sizes included 35/37 – 38/39 – 40/41, but for longer or shorter feet it can easily be adjusted (just keep in mind you may need extra yarn if you decide to make them bigger or longer). And in case if you are wondering whether the pattern is written or charted, it is both 🙂

The only thing I would recommend is that if you have never knitted cables before, you should practise a little. This one is not an easy one.
