Wollyhood is dè wolwinkel in Utrecht!

There is no such thing as too much yarn …

Well, I am sure I am not the only one that has a huge amount of yarns piling up while still continuing to buy more. And on top of that I have my own shop filled with wool which makes me feel like a kid in a candy store every time I walk in.

Walking past a beautiful colour blend or wool so soft that you just want to wrap it around you seems impossible to me.
But that also leads to another problem of mine:

A basket full of unfinished projects.

I am always working on several projects at the same time. And while I enjoy changing between projects, especially when they are quite big with a difficult lace pattern that needs all your attention, it also means that there are always some ongoing projects that are wating to be finished. Which may never happen.

I just get very excited when finding something new, whether it is new wool or a new pattern, and I often cannot wait to start. And with so much talent and creativity around the world  I could find a new project  every day if I were looking for it. Making my wish-list longer and longer. So I try very hard not to browse the web all the time and every now and then I force myself to finish something that has been waiting for a while.
After all, there is nothing finer than a finshed handmade item.

How is it for you? Is there anyone with the same issue out there??
